Performance Improvements From Suspension Servicing

Restored Damping Control

Over time, oil inside your suspension (forks or shock) breaks down and loses viscosity. Servicing replaces the oil and restores proper damping, giving you consistent rebound and compression performance.

Better Small Bump Sensitivity

Fresh seals and clean oil reduce stiction (friction between moving parts), meaning your suspension reacts more smoothly to small trail chatter.

More Predictable Handling

A properly serviced suspension tracks the ground better, keeps your tires in contact, and improves cornering stability — especially noticeable in technical terrain.

Improved safety & confidence

Fresh components and correct air pressure prevent “packing down” or harsh bottom-outs, giving you a more controlled ride and confidence on descents.

Extended component lifespan

Regular servicing prevents dirt, old oil, and worn seals from damaging expensive internals — especially the stanchions and damper assembly.

Optimised performance

A service is often a good time to re-tune settings for your current weight, riding style, or terrain (compression/rebound, air volume spacers, etc.).
