A complete service of a compatible removable fork damper cartridge.

We’ll contact you before fitting additional replacement parts or carrying out repairs unless they fall within the wear-parts or additional-work allowance you selected when booking. If no relevant allowance was selected, or the cost would exceed it, we’ll seek your approval before proceeding.
- Damper adjuster function checked before servicing
- Damper settings recorded
- Damper cartridge removed from the fork (if supplied within the complete fork) and inspected
- Damper fully dismantled and cleaned
- Internal components inspected for wear or damage
- Service seals and wear items replaced as required
- Damper rebuilt and torqued to factory specifications
- Damper vacuum-bled with fresh damper oil, where supported
- Damper function and adjusters checked after reassembly
- Damper settings returned to their original or recommended starting points
A removable damper cartridge can be sent in separately for servicing. If the damper cannot be removed as a complete cartridge, damper servicing must be carried out as part of the appropriate full fork service. Custom damper tuning and Fluid Focus upgrades can also be added to your Fork Damper Service.
In-House Fork Damper Custom Tuning
Want to change how your fork performs? We can re-valve compatible fork dampers in-house to suit your bike, riding style and performance requirements.
Custom tuning changes the internal valving. A standard damper service renews the oil and seals while retaining the existing tune.
Fluid Focus Damper Upgrades
Looking for more performance from your fork damper? We offer Fluid Focus high-flow piston and re-valve kits for compatible FOX and RockShox fork dampers.
These kits can be fitted during a Fork Damper Service. We'll confirm compatibility before proceeding. When we install a Fluid Focus kit, we'll deduct the custom tuning charge from your Fork Damper Service price.
Fork Brands We Service
We service compatible removable fork damper cartridges from FOX, RockShox, Marzocchi, Öhlins, DVO and other suspension brands. If your damper is older or uncommon, contact us before booking to confirm service and parts availability.
Queenstown Workshop & Nationwide Service
Drop off your damper cartridge or fork at our Queenstown workshop, or send it to CJSuspension by courier from anywhere in New Zealand. Current booking availability is shown through our online booking system.
