What's Included

A specialist steerer tube replacement service for compatible fork crown-steerer assemblies.

We’ll contact you before fitting additional replacement parts or carrying out repairs unless they fall within the wear-parts or additional-work allowance you selected when booking. If no relevant allowance was selected, or the cost would exceed it, we’ll seek your approval before proceeding.

  • Lower-leg bushing alignment checked before servicing
  • Existing steerer tube removed from the crown
  • Crown bore cleaned and inspected
  • Crown and replacement steerer prepared with specialist retaining compound
  • New steerer tube pressed into the crown
  • Steerer installation and lower-leg bushing alignment checked after assembly
  • Replacement steerer supplied uncut for final fitment

If your fork CSU is creaking, a steerer tube replacement is not the correct service. Please see our CSU De-Creak Service instead.

The lower legs and axle are required even if you send only the CSU. This lets us check lower-leg bushing alignment before and after replacement. Bent or loose steerers require an in-house CSU assessment before we can confirm whether replacement is suitable.

Fork Brands We Service

Steerer replacement is available for selected FOX, RockShox, DVO and other compatible fork crown-steerer units. We’ll confirm model and crown compatibility before proceeding.
