The Telum tune considers much more than just shock size. Your bike, rider weight, terrain, riding style and preferred suspension feel all contribute to the final spring rate, damper valving and baseline settings.

Your frame’s leverage characteristics, rear travel, wheel size, shock dimensions and total bike weight help define the required setup.

Will the Telum fit my bike? +

Start with the frame compatibility checker above. The Telum fits a wide range of mountain bikes and e-bikes, but some frames have unique clearance or mounting requirements.

What happens if my bike is not listed? +

Contact CJSUSPENSION with your bike brand, model, year, frame size and current shock dimensions. We will work through the fitment with you before confirming the order.

What information is used to tune my Telum? +

The tune considers rider and bike weight, frame leverage characteristics, terrain speed and steepness, riding aggression, strength-to-weight, jump or drop size, and your preferred suspension feel.

What is Rapid Revalve? +

Rapid Revalve allows the fundamental compression and rebound valving stiffness to be changed without fully disassembling, bleeding or repressurising the shock.

What if I want a different tune later? +

The Telum can be retuned after the initial setup using Rapid Revalve. Contact CJSUSPENSION with your feedback and we can determine the next tuning step.

What if the spring feels too firm or too soft? +

The supplied Sprindex spring provides an adjustable rate range. Contact us before changing the spring so we can review sag, settings and your current spring position.

Does mounting hardware come with the shock? +

Yes. Standard reducer hardware for your frame is included with your Telum. Some frames use a 30 × 8 mm bearing assembly in the shaft eyelet. In this case, your existing bearing assembly can usually be reused, or a replacement can be purchased separately as an add-on. We will confirm the correct mounting setup before preparing your shock.

Can CJSUSPENSION service and retune my Telum? +

Yes. CJSUSPENSION provides Telum setup, servicing and tuning support in New Zealand.

What warranty does the Telum come with? +

The Telum comes with a two-year warranty. To maintain warranty coverage, servicing is required every 100,000 vertical metres of descent or annually, whichever comes first.

Is Telum servicing and support available throughout New Zealand? +

Yes. Telum setup, servicing and tuning support is available throughout New Zealand.
