What the Smashpot V2 Changes
Smashpot V2 replaces the fork's air spring with a coil system for lower spring friction, consistent support and adjustable hydraulic bottom-out control.

With no moving air-spring seals in the spring system, the Smashpot reduces friction for better sensitivity, grip and compliance over small bumps.

How much weight does the Smashpot V2 add?
The Smashpot is typically around 250 to 450 g heavier than the original air spring, depending on spring rate and the fork's original spring system. Firmer springs are generally heavier.
Do I need any extra parts to change the travel?
All travel spacers are included with the kit. If you no longer have the original parts, you may need a Travel Adjust Kit. New cartridge-tube heat shrink is also required because it is installed after the travel is set internally. View Travel Adjust Kit & Spare Parts.
I'm moving the Smashpot over to an entirely new fork. What parts do I need?
For a compatible new fork, you will need the correct top cap. If you are changing between fork brands, you will also need the appropriate foot stud. Shop Smashpot V2 top caps or shop Smashpot V2 foot studs.
