Fox DHX Servicing
We service current Fox DHX shocks and supported earlier DHX generations where the correct service parts are available. CJSUSPENSION schedules this workshop service at 100 hours, ahead of FOX's current 125-hour normal-use full-service interval. Each shock is inspected during servicing, and any additional work is confirmed before proceeding.
100hr Fox DHX Service
A complete coil shock service to refresh the damper, seals and lubrication and keep the shock running smoothly.
- Damper checked on hand dyno
- Shock settings recorded
- Mounting hardware inspected for wear
- Coil spring removed
- Shock completely dismantled
- Shock inspected for wear or damage
- Damper seals replaced
- Grease and assembly lubrication renewed
- Damper fully serviced and vacuum-bled with new damper oil
- Damper IFP chamber recharged with nitrogen
- Shock rebuilt and reassembled to factory torque specifications
- Coil spring refitted
- Settings returned to the original or recommended starting point
- Damper function checked on hand dyno

Fox DHX Custom Damper Tuning
Compatible Fox DHX dampers can be custom tuned for rider weight, riding style, terrain and the level of support or comfort required.

Fluid Focus bump stop tuning is available for compatible Fox DHX shocks to refine bottom-out support and end-stroke feel.

Fit a Fluid Focus bump stop to your Fox DHX to improve bottom-out control and support through the last part of the shock travel.
- Correct bump stop fitment confirmed
- Correct cavity and durometer chosen for the shock and rider
- Existing bump stop removed
- Fluid Focus bump stop fitted
- Shock reassembled as required

Current-generation Fox DHX uses Fluid Focus Cavity 3. Older DHX, RC2 and RC4 fitments use Cavity 4, so the exact shock generation and durometer are confirmed before installation.
