Fox Float RP-Series Servicing
We service current and earlier Fox Float RP-Series (RP2 / RP23) shocks. Each shock is fully inspected during servicing, and we’ll contact you before carrying out any additional repairs or replacement work unless an additional-work allowance has been selected on the booking form.
25hr Fox Float RP2 / RP23 Service
A clean, re-grease and lubrication service for new or low-hour air shocks, or as a refresh between larger service intervals.
- Air pressure recorded
- Damper checked on hand dyno. If aerated, a 100hr service is required.
- Mounting hardware inspected for wear
- Air sleeve removed and cleaned
- Air sleeve seals cleaned and inspected for wear. If worn, a 50hr service is required
- Seals re-greased and reused
- Air sleeve grease and lubrication refreshed
- Shock air sleeve rebuilt
- Air chamber charged with nitrogen
- Air pressure returned to the original setting
- Function checked

A mid-interval air sleeve service to replace seals, refresh lubrication and keep the shock running smoothly between complete services.

Compatible Fox Float RP-series shocks can receive custom damper tuning, air-volume setup and removal or refitting when a complete clean bike is delivered.

Compatible Fox Float RP-Series (RP2 / RP23) dampers can be custom tuned for rider weight, riding style, terrain and the level of support or comfort required.

Fox Float RP-Series (RP2 / RP23) Air Volume Spacer Setup
Adjust your Fox Float RP-Series (RP2 / RP23) air spring with volume spacers to change the spring progression and bottom-out support to better suit the rider and terrain.
- Rider weight, bike and riding style reviewed
- Current air spring setup checked
- Existing volume spacer configuration checked
- Volume spacers added or removed as required
- Air sleeve reassembled
- Air pressure and setup adjusted
- Shock function checked
- Baseline settings supplied
Air volume spacers can be installed as part of a 25hr, 50hr or 100hr rear shock service at no additional installation charge. If no shock service is booked, installation is $30 plus the cost of the spacers. If the air sleeve assembly must be removed, a minimum 25hr service is required.

Removal and refitting of the Fox Float RP-Series (RP2 / RP23) when a complete clean bike is delivered to the workshop.
- Suspension component removed from the bike

A Fluid Focus bump stop can be fitted to compatible Float RP-series shocks during a complete 100hr service to improve end-stroke support.

Fit a Fluid Focus bump stop to your Fox Float RP-Series (RP2 / RP23) to improve bottom-out control and support through the last part of the shock travel.
- Correct bump stop fitment confirmed
