Fox Vanilla Servicing
We service current and earlier Fox Vanilla shocks. Each shock is fully inspected during servicing, and we’ll contact you before carrying out any additional repairs or replacement work unless an additional-work allowance has been selected on the booking form.
100hr Fox Vanilla Service
A complete coil shock service to refresh the damper, seals and lubrication and keep the shock running smoothly.
- Damper checked on hand dyno
- Shock settings recorded
- Mounting hardware inspected for wear
- Coil spring removed
- Shock completely dismantled
- Shock inspected for wear or damage
- Damper seals replaced
- Grease and assembly lubrication renewed
- Damper fully serviced and vacuum-bled with new damper oil
- Damper IFP chamber recharged with nitrogen
- Shock rebuilt and reassembled to factory torque specifications
- Coil spring refitted
- Settings returned to the original or recommended starting point
- Damper function checked on hand dyno

Compatible Fox Vanilla dampers can be custom tuned for rider weight, riding style, terrain and the level of support or comfort required.

Removal and refitting of the Fox Vanilla when a complete clean bike is delivered to the workshop.

The Vanilla family is an older Fox coil shock platform. CJSUSPENSION currently lists service parts for the 9.5mm-shaft Vanilla from 1997 to 2004.

We use the Stendec 31.5mm I.D. spring range for compatible Fox Vanilla shocks. Spring rate, free length and stroke capacity are checked before fitment.
