RockShox Vivid Coil Servicing
We service current and earlier RockShox Vivid Coil shocks where the correct service parts are available. Each shock is inspected during servicing and we’ll contact you before carrying out any additional repairs or replacement work unless an additional-work allowance has been selected on the booking form.
100hr RockShox Vivid Coil Service
A complete coil shock service to refresh the damper, seals and lubrication and keep the shock running smoothly.
- Damper checked on hand dyno
- Shock settings recorded
- Mounting hardware inspected for wear
- Coil spring removed
- Shock completely dismantled
- Shock inspected for wear or damage
- Damper seals replaced
- Grease and assembly lubrication renewed
- Damper fully serviced and vacuum-bled with new damper oil
- Damper IFP chamber recharged with nitrogen
- Shock rebuilt and reassembled to factory torque specifications
- Coil spring refitted
- Settings returned to the original or recommended starting point
- Damper function checked on hand dyno

Compatible RockShox Vivid Coil dampers can be custom tuned for rider weight, riding style, terrain and the level of support or comfort required.

Removal and refitting of the RockShox Vivid Coil when a complete clean bike is delivered to the workshop.

RockShox Vivid Coil Fluid Focus Damper Upgrade
Upgrade your RockShox Vivid Coil damper with a Fluid Focus piston kit to improve damping control and tune the shock to better suit the rider, bike and terrain.
- Correct Fluid Focus fitment confirmed
- Rider weight, bike and riding style reviewed
- Shock stripped and inspected
- Damper stripped and cleaned
- Fluid Focus piston kit installed
- Damper fully serviced with fresh oil and seals as required
- Damper vacuum-bled if possible
- Shock rebuilt and function checked
- Baseline settings supplied
Fluid Focus installation must be added to a 100hr rear shock service.
RockShox Vivid Coil Split Preload Collar Upgrade
Upgrade your RockShox Vivid Coil with a Fluid Focus split preload collar to keep spring preload secure and prevent the collar backing off during use.
- Correct split preload collar fitment confirmed
- Coil spring removed
- Existing preload collar removed
- Fluid Focus split preload collar installed
- Coil spring refitted
- Spring preload set and collar secured
- Installation and function checked
