RockShox 30 Repairs

Repair support depends on the exact RockShox 30 generation, damper and chassis specification. Older or uncommon versions are checked before additional work is approved.

RockShox 30 Damper Service

RockShox 30 damper servicing for removable drop-in cartridges that are poorly performing through compression, rebound or lockout control. Worn or failed seals, damaged bladders or worn internal parts can cause these issues.

  • Damper removed and inspected
  • Damper stripped and cleaned
  • Service seals and wear items replaced as required
  • Fresh damper oil added
  • Damper rebuilt and torqued to specification
  • Damper vacuum-bled if possible
  • Adjuster function checked
If the complete damper cartridge can be removed as one unit, it can be sent separately for servicing and custom tuning can be added at the same time. If not, damper servicing must be completed as part of a 100hr fork service.

RockShox 30 Fork Scratch Repair

RockShox 30 stanchion scratch repair for suitable damage to improve the sealing surface and reduce further seal damage.

  • Damage assessed before repair
  • Damaged area cleaned and prepared
  • Scratch filled with epoxy
  • Repair left to cure for 24 hours
  • Once cured, epoxy smoothed and finished
  • Stanchion sealing surface checked before use
General wear is usually not suitable for this repair, as the epoxy needs a defined scratch to bond to. We’ll assess the damage first and advise whether repair or stanchion replacement is the best option.

  • Special retaining compound applied
  • New steerer pressed into place
  • Installation checked after assembly

If you plan to send only the CSU for steerer replacement, please note that we also require the lower legs and axle. This allows us to check lower leg bushing alignment before and after assembly to make sure everything is correctly aligned.

RockShox 30 Service FAQs

Do you service RockShox 30 forks?

Yes. We service compatible RockShox 30 Gold and 30 Silver forks where the required service parts are available and the fork is in serviceable condition.

Are all RockShox 30 forks the same inside?

No. RockShox 30 forks were produced in air and coil versions with different dampers and chassis specifications, so the exact model and generation need to be confirmed before parts or repairs are approved.
